Hello, my name is Eriqa, I am a licensed cosmetologist specializing in natural hair health, growth, and length retention.
My approach begins with one priority: the health of your hair. I believe beautiful styles should never come at the expense of your hair's long-term health. I'm intentional about minimizing unnecessary tension, friction, and practices that can lead to damage.
I believe healthy hair sometimes requires removing damage or split ends when necessary. I also believe healthy hair does not have to be boring. We can create beautiful, fun styles while still prioritizing the strength, health, and longevity of your natural hair.

Salon Policies
Deposits
A $25 non-refundable deposit is required to secure your appointment and will be applied toward your service total. The remaining balance is due at the time of service. Deposits may be transferred one time to a rescheduled appointment when at least 48 hours’ notice is provided. Deposits are forfeited for late cancellations and no-shows.
Cancellations & Rescheduling
Please cancel or reschedule at least 48 hours before your appointment. Cancellations or rescheduling requests made less than 48 hours in advance will be subject to a 50% cancellation fee.
No-Show Policy
A no-show is defined as failing to arrive for your scheduled appointment without prior notice. Your deposit will be forfeited, and future booking privileges will be permanently revoked.
Late Arrivals
A 15-minute grace period is provided for all appointments. Arrivals more than 15 minutes late will be subject to a $25 late fee. The appointment may also need to be shortened, modified, or rescheduled depending on the service and remaining appointment time. If your appointment must be rescheduled due to a late arrival, the applicable cancellation fee will apply. Please communicate as soon as possible if you are running late.
Payment Methods
Payment is due at the time of service. Accepted payment methods: • Cash • Tap to Pay • Apple Pay • Website payment link, when applicable A valid payment method is required to book an appointment. By booking, you authorize Eriqa Essence to charge the payment method on file for applicable deposit or cancellation fees in accordance with these policies.
Guests
To maintain a relaxing and comfortable environment, please arrive alone. No additional guests or children are permitted unless they are also receiving a service. Eriqa Essence services are available to guests ages 12 and older. If you are experiencing any symptoms of illness, please do not book. Please reschedule your appointment once you are feeling better and symptom-free.
